Writing in progress

I think writing is a bit like painting. You first make a sketch. Then you add some collor. You need to let it dry for a while. Then you take another look at it and add some more collors.

I've had two lazy, rainy weeks. I didn't feel like doing anything at all. I stayed in bed longer then I had to. When I wasn't in bed, I played games on my pc or read a book. I let the dust collect on the furniture, but I did take the time to cook. Being unemployed makes my mood go up and down. This week I wanted a fresh start. It took some days to get adjusted, but my bathroom is clean and I didn't ignore the alarm clock this morning.

For my etsy shop, I finished a collection. The sky has been to cloudy to photograph the products. I hope the sun will shine tomorrow. And for my book... I will write again today, but have decided to 'sketch' a little more first and add the collors in a later stadium.

My new handbag

I just had a tiny bit of sunshine today. Inbetween rainstorms the sun decided to peek through the clouds. So I rushed upstairs to take pictures of the handbag I made this morning. I made it for my own use and I'm quite proud of it. To bad there wasn't enough sunshine to capture my Etsy products.

Birthday gift

I promised to post new work. Well I did work on things, but the light has been terrible to photograph. This little heartline I made for a friends birthday party. I like the collors, they are matching the season. As soon as the light get's better, then I will photograph the items I made and put them on my Etsy shop.

Moodboards

For a long time I have been wanting to write a book. After many unfinished projects I decided to really take it seriously this time. I have lost my job so this is the best opportunity to start writing. To help me along, I've made four moodboards for the main characters of my story.

A lovely snowy surprise

The first day of snow. And I walked up to my car. There it was, a little lovely snowy surprise. My boyfriend, who is up and about before me, left me a message on the window of my car.

Secret Santa / Surprise

Here in holland we exchange gifts in the begining of December. Our version of Santa Claus (Sinterklaas) who looks more like a saint then the jolly round man that visits on christmas.
At work where I council a group of teen girls, we play secret santa this week, we call this surprise. I made this balerina doll for Mimi. I will give it to her this thursday and I really hope she'll like it.
